PreceptorLink is your guide to Student Nurse Practitioner Resources!
There is always more teaching and learning to do!
Here is a video of NP-owner Lynn McComas, MSN, ANP-C and colleague Laurie Sargent giving Tips for Finding Preceptors:
These are some of the videos/resources that we think students will find helpful. It is wonderful that these medical providers are willing to post this free education for the world! Please be kind to them on their site. Videos are not advocated by PreceptorLink but are just provided as helpful resources. Use at your own risk and judgement! Please let us know of broken links, other good resources or concerns through the blue button on bottom of page:

Nurse Lada's Binder YouTube site: I like "Nurse Lada." She is fun, happy and real. She gives real advice and gets the input of others. Check out her YouTube on making your NP Binder- tool that is helpful for students and NPs alike. She also has a Nurse Lada Facebook site that is very positive, upbeat and supportive for NPs. See if it fits your style. (Closed group, but ask to be added.)
There are also many other Facebook sites for NPs. Nurse Practitioner Networking Group, Nurse Practitioner Faith Community, Preceptors for Nurse Practitioner Students. Make sure you check out your local NP chapter and State NP Facebook sites! This link will take you to a search of NP Facebook Sites.

NPStudent.com: This is an absolutely wonderful resource! This site is a community-run, free nursing/medical reference site that highlights all the helpful resources for pediatric trainees to increase knowledge and personal resource lists. The project is an active collaboration between SF Bay Area NAPNAP Chapter, UCSF School of Nursing and volunteer editorial staff. Lots on here for Peds!! Well-child visits; SOAP notes; Vaccinations...it's all here!
